Tuition Assistance

ALL APPLICANTS FOR TUITION ASSISTANCE MUST BE ENROLLED IN A 5 FULL-DAY PROGRAM

At The Walden School, we believe every child deserves access to a quality education, regardless of their family's financial situation. That's why we're proud to offer our Tuition Assistance Program, which enables many students to benefit from all that our school has to offer. We understand that every child is unique and has their own individual needs and talents. Our program aims to understand your child and provide them with the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The Walden School is currently providing support for more than 30% of the student body.

Our Tuition Assistance Program is available to all families, ensuring that no one is left behind due to financial constraints. We believe that education should be a right, not a privilege, and we are committed to making it accessible to all. Through this program, we are able to bring together a diverse community of students who can contribute their unique perspectives and experiences to our school.

At The Walden School, we believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities. By offering tuition assistance to well-qualified students, we are providing them with a high-quality education and the opportunity to contribute to our community. We believe that every child has the potential to make a difference, and through our program, we strive to empower them to do so. Join us at The Walden School and let your child thrive!

To be considered for our financial aid program, families must submit an application through Tuition Assistance for School Tuition (FAST). FAST is an independent financial aid evaluation company (powered by Independent School Management, ISM) that will verify and make a recommendation to The Walden School Tuition Assistance Committee. Our Tuition Assistance Committee has the final determination regarding the financial aid award amount.

To apply for financial aid, please click the above image. If parents have any questions while completing the application process, please call 1-877-326-FAST (3278), our 24-hour call center. While the application process for families is extremely user-friendly, FAST also provides a User Guide and help bubbles for each question within the application for added support.

Tuition assistance is awarded according to demonstrated financial need, and any family needing assistance is encouraged to apply. The Walden School does not discriminate in its tuition assistance allocations on the basis of race, color, religion, or national origin, nor does it consider financial need when determining a student’s eligibility for admission. Furthermore, The Walden School does not set different standards of behavior or academic performance for tuition assistance recipients; high academic standards and exemplary citizenship are expected of all students.
